Meeting Minutes - approved February 19, 2013
- Meeting called to order at 6:35PM
- Attendees were Anne Littlefield, Rosemary Fudeman, Claire Golding, and Lynne Grettum
- Reviewed and approved meeting minutes from April 11, 2012 – Vote was unanimous
- There was a discussion of Election activities for the remainder of calendar year 2012 that included absentee ballot deadlines for both U.S. and non U.S. (UOCAVA) voters, and electronic ballots. The procedure for counting UOCAVA ballots that arrived in the Clerk’s office after the Nov. 6th election deadline was explained. Any UOCAVA ballots postmarked by November 6th and received by the Registrars by 5PM on November 16th were to be counted at a meeting of the Registrars on November 16th. Plans were made to set up a meeting of the Registrars for Friday, November 16th after 5PM.
- The Voter Registration project – a
- A Voter registration session held at the Wachusett Regional High School did not yield any new voter registrations for Princeton
- Lynne updated the Board on the Mock Election to be held at Thomas Prince School. The date of the election is Thursday, November 1st. Lynne will be in attendance and work with the children that will act as election officers
- It was agreed that the Registrars would cover Town Clerk’s office on Election Day to answer voter questions and process absentee ballots as they come in.
- Unanimous vote to dissolve the meeting at 7:34PM
